I have changed the head gasket twice. First time was with the older style gasket and it blew out within a few months. I changed it the second time with the newer style gasket. It is working ok so far. I have had the radiator cleaned and repaired and it is running ok right now. I havent...
I suspect that my multifuel was turned up. It is a M62A2. It will overheat, it has blown a head gasket, and it makes copious amounts of smoke when accelerating.
Would a hand held IR thermometer work for takeing temps, and if so where would I take it?
Do I, or should I put in a pyro?
I have...

I have some surface rust on my m62a2 and I am planning on doing a paint job soon. I will be treating the rust with ospho and I was wondering if I need to or should hit the truck with some primer prior to paint. I will be using gillespie. If I should use primer are there any special types...

You guys and gals in the south are lucky to have so many SS members close by and willing to help each other. Here on the west coast we dont have nearly as many people that are interested and willing to help each other out.

It is my understanding that there are a few different kinds of gaskets for the multifuel. I have used the red fabric kind that is surplus.
What is the strongest, best gasket for the multifuel?
Who caries them and how would I contact them?
Thanks for your help.

If I.T.S. is buying the vehicle from me, and then I buy it back wouldn't the dmv hit both I.T.S. and myself with sales tax. I live in California and everytime I take a vehicle to the DMV I pay them almost 8%.

I have decided to change the water pump. My M62a2 is running hot. I pulled out the thermostat, made sure that the lower hose doesnt collapse when running, fan is working, there is little water movement when looking in the radiator when the engine is running and checked the temp of the...
