This worked great for me, 11 or 12 inch wiper from your favorite store, drill out center rivet, put original wiper arm in, install bolt from old wiper blade (not to tight, allow wiper to move), that's all, like I said works great.

Check your belts, I had a belt missing a chunk, it did not squeal all the time but when it did you knew it. Also check the tension on belts.

I just did the same thing recently, Ya the fan hose is a tight squeeze, fortunately I can slip an arm in just enough to get to it. So I feel your pain.

The radius rods have a groove/cannnel at each end where the clamps go, clean groove and soak with your favorite penetrate, heat (I used a propane torch with map gas), soak again, heat again. Try turning both directions just a little to break the bond, once the bond is broken soak again and...
