    Transfer case swap

What would be involved in swapping the trans and transfer case from a later model Dodge into the M880? I guess if it was simple everyone would be doing it.

    Transfer case swap

I have not done the swap myself, but I don't see why you couldn't. The only draw back that I could see with having a free wheeling front end with a 205 is that the front axle is still going to turn due to lack of any locking/free wheeling hubs. I would think matting the 205 up would be the...

What kind of truck is this?

I'd say that 2k is in the ball park for that truck. Get it and breath life back into it.

    4 speed trans conversion

Just a dumb question here, but a 700r4 would not work in place of the 4L80? I thought they were basically the same case, length etc.?

Seems like I have less and less each day. :)

    Lighter Doors?

Weeeell....I said this above "but I want to have a door for locking it up and for less than perfect weather." In other words I want to be able to park the truck close the door, lock it and walk away for a while and when its late fall or early spring I want to be able keep heat in and the...

    Lighter Doors?

@FrankUSMC. Yes I think they tried making an airborn one that was all aluminum but it didn't pass muster. I am sure I could make a metal frame and canvas/vinyl door, but I want to have a door door for locking it it up and for less than perfect weather. A fiberglass replica door would be an...

    Lighter Doors?

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how to make the doors on a M37 lighter? Want to make the doors removable for the summer time and as I get older those door get heavier and I am looking for ways to make them lighter. Thanks, Joe

    Cut Away Display M151A1

I'm surprised that you didn't cut the intake manifold to show how the exhaust manifold is mounted under it. Otherwise it looks great and I hope to see it in person some day.

Engine sputters when hot. NOT ignition coil this time???

So did a new coil fix the problem or are you still having an issue?

Engine sputters when hot. NOT ignition coil this time???

Check your fuel pump. Not sure if you have a A2 fuel pump or not. It might be that when the engine warms up the diaphragm in the fuel pump loosens up and it can't deliver the fuel properly. Also try putting a 45 degree elbow on the fuel inlet to the carb. That will move the fuel filter...

What is it, very strange 151 ?

Just my theory here, but I would say that it was a standard M151A1 that was demilled by cutting it in half and then when they went to put it back together they lengthened it and built the upper body on the rear to make a "pick up" jeep. That's my thought on it.
