    1984 CUCV M1009 build thread

Hi Combatmech, The seats are the Smittybilt XRCs designed for bolt in to cj/yj jeeps. So I bought them for $210 each, then I bought the Bestop sliders for CJ/YJ for $70 each. (good sliders btw) We plasma cut all the mount material. We cut a piece of flat roll, about 2.5 inches wide that...

    CUCV - Slantback

I like it. Look at the passenger side rear window-fullsize. lol but the photoshop gets the point across. And as far as a small window in the back, like a 12" one, you could use a cut down version of the ones they use on regular camper/toppers that just have a handle and flip up. Now I...

    My new M1009 CUCV!

Guys, My OH9 came from Nellis, and it did have holes punched in the tranny pan and fuel tank, oil filter gone, diff covers hanging by one bolt. There are photos of the tranny pan in the first page of my build showing the hole near the corner before we welded in a bung/drain plug. I'm not...

    CUCV Tire question

I know that's not what he asked. That's why I recommended 33/34s. I mentoned that an OH9 will clear 37s with trimming-meaning 33/34s with no mod. And 10Bs will hold 33/34s all day. 33/34s do not pose a hazard or risk. -Dave
