Hey Cucvnut! What's goin on man!? I saw you were online when I posted these and I figured you'd like them.
Weirdest thing man, I saw a guy with a Jeep all rock'd out, and started BS'n with him and told him I had the Blazer, yada, yada, yada, He said he had some wheels and tires I might...
Just picked up my new wheels and tires.
HMMWV BFG Baja T/As 37/12.5/16.5 4 on 12 bolt HMMWV rims w/ runflat/beadlock and 4 on 24 bolt HMMWV rims w/ Bulletproof runflat/beadlock.
I still have to get the M1028 to do the axle swap on my OH9. So for now they sit :-(
Here's some pics. Enjoy...
Hi Combatmech,
The seats are the Smittybilt XRCs designed for bolt in to cj/yj jeeps. So I bought them for $210 each, then I bought the Bestop sliders for CJ/YJ for $70 each. (good sliders btw)
We plasma cut all the mount material.
We cut a piece of flat roll, about 2.5 inches wide that...
I like it. Look at the passenger side rear window-fullsize. lol but the photoshop gets the point across.
And as far as a small window in the back, like a 12" one, you could use a cut down version of the ones they use on regular camper/toppers that just have a handle and flip up.
Now I...
Hey Fleg,
Condition wasn't listed, but the one next to it had the same treatment. I figured the Mechanics needed to drain fluids for transportation, but was not certain.
Unsolved mysteries i suppose.

And BTW Warthog,
Because of your signature line, one of the first things I did was go through all my electrical and clean it. Common sense but rarely done by most. So thanks!

Warthog,
I went through all the FAQs when I got my OH9 to learn. The info was all over the place so I started copying and pasting everyones work into Word, and from there started organizing it. I also included the wiki info.
I did this to be efficient and carry in my glovcebox, but then...
I'm not much help on this question as I will be building one that swings on a Dana 44 snout off a new bumper. But like NCBloodhound said, check that forum. More mods there than here.
Thanks for the compliment. I will be building the rear bumper next.

p.S. as far as drawers go, I...
Guys,
My OH9 came from Nellis, and it did have holes punched in the tranny pan and fuel tank, oil filter gone, diff covers hanging by one bolt. There are photos of the tranny pan in the first page of my build showing the hole near the corner before we welded in a bung/drain plug. I'm not...
I know that's not what he asked. That's why I recommended 33/34s. I mentoned that an OH9 will clear 37s with trimming-meaning 33/34s with no mod.
And 10Bs will hold 33/34s all day. 33/34s do not pose a hazard or risk.

The M1009 is a 1986 K5 Blazer with a 1 Ton J code 6.2L instead of the normal C code 6.2L diesel and a TH400 3 speed automatic instead of the TH700R4. These modifications were done at the military’s request to...
updated cheat sheet for CUCV
I am making this for myself (and you guys) to carry in my OH9. It's not perfect, but I hope it helps. (I'd say copy and paste from here below) and if you make changes/additions, repost please. Thanks.
This Infornation was obtained from the SteelSoldiers Website...
Laurence,
Go to this link and copy and paste my two posts, they are most of the FAQs organized for easy reading.
Copy them into Word or whatever program you have, print them out, they are 27 pages, and then keep them in your cucv as a quick cheat sheet.
