Good LOW speed mud tire but they don’t handle long highway speeds very well. Not that the cucv is a high speed vehicle but I bought a set & ran them on a newer 3/4 ton diesel
3 of them separated on longer 75-80 mph runs.
Took them back, they warrantied 1 with a $50 credit .
Put 3 new on &...
Yes the bumper, mounts & braces stiffen up the frame.
The sway bar bolts go thru a crossmember, frame brackets & also help greatly stiffen up the frt frame corners.
If you doubt me pull the bumper, brackets & sway bar mounts off.
Have someone start the truck & work the steering back & forth...
Last year, State Farm commercial, no restrictions $12.5 value.
Do not currently have insurance on it, going from m925 to m936 when I put her back on the road.
1 do the weld on kit !
2 do the bolt in brace !
3 keep steer box bolts tight !
4 keep all bumper bracket bolts tight

The 6 axle plugs they send are stamped aluminum, about the thickness of a beer can, useless...
I moved mine about 15 miles, off base & to a storage area with a 3/4 ton diesel gmc.
All back roads & low speed (45 & under). I had no problems but will say you know it's back there.
Frt brakes do not need to be caged but rear will.
Best to be done on a gooseneck like mentioned earlier.
If...
I didn't see what trans issues you were having...
YES, you need the longer pickup tube for the deep pan.
Shouldnt be too hard to find local or on the internet.
Im NOT alone !!!
I moved mine to mow...
I wish I could say mine are blocked by shop construction.
Mine are blocked by motivation, time, money & a couple of 5 tons !
Made a few runs to the dump lately
1 was 4000lbs of broken up concrete
1 was 4200lbs of shingles
1 was only 2300lbs of construction debris
Been looking at hydraulic dump trailers & other than the easy unload the m101A2 has been up to the task !
