So I need door handles but I really am having trouble paying prices close to $200 for one.
I really would like handles that do not have a lock or pot metal.
The end statement is this. Has anybody come up with better door handles at a lesser price.
Now I understand, so I say! You are charging the series of batteries to be 24vdc and doing away with the 12vdc side. You are obtaining your voltage right there at the panel ie 24vdc connect at the panel and going to the 12vdc connect at the panel. Now instead of a manual disconnect switch for...
If I wired as stated by you how would the 12 vdc battery get charged but now that I write are you charging that or depending on the 2 group 31 threaded post to be charged by the 24vdc which brings us back to the over and undercharging that used to plague the M35 when people wired to one 12...
Hey RonMar,
This is Lugnuts and I am asking and opening this conversation up again. I hope you are willing and anybody else who cares to join in.
The dual 24 - 12vdc Alternators are past getting stupid in price. I have a M1078 that is missing an alternator and hurricane season is starting thus...
RonMar gave a schematic/ now at the batteries you have 3 cables coming to the boxes/ Remember the forward battery (the one at your left when you are looking at the batteries) is the 24 volt dc positive connection/ the rear 12 volt battery is for the 12 volt dc positive battery connection. In the...
One last though I'd like to add since you are Fire Services related, since the truck isn't always running with the extra room you can install on the back wall a small 2 lead battery charger {3 or 6 amp) and install the 110 vac plug where the NATO connection is. If you want an Auto Eject you can...
RonMar said well. I personally use an Interstate threaded Lugs/ They have a 1000 crank amps a piece/ Without looking I think the cable is 2/0 on both hot leg and ground/ No trouble whatsoever.
So the truck is shifting now. The fix was quite easy once you know where to look. The problem was at the KeyPad. After finding that I had an active code on the TPS, and watching the video put out by Ronmar, I found that the TPS was good and that between The TPS and the Keypad I had a problem so...
I've got to get back out there and check continuity/ Thank you for the schematic/ It is much more concise than the TM schematic/ The other thing I have had happen on trucks is that wires shrink or get stressed and actually just pull out of the connector enough to leave the circuit open while...
So I went to my truck with the new found information and just knew I had this thing whipped and low and behold I was wrong. The TPS itself is working fine and with in the ranges required so I set about to calibrate and nada.
Now this of course leads to more questions and NO, not of yet have I...
I will give the problem first and then state what I have done for diagnostics.
Problem- Transmission when put in drive lights up with 7 gear showing in left window and 2 showing in right window.
Drive and will not shift to 3rd even when tached out.
Stop- Shift it manual in to 1st- it goes into...
