    t136 sprag welding

Instead of trying to weld up the sprag transfercase, or install a REB kit, why don'y you just dump the sprag case all togather, and swap in an air-shift case in its place? Air-shifts go any where from $150-300. Not much money in my opinion, for all the work you won't have to do, for trying to...

Why is the M105 cargo cover so tall?

This winter I picked up a good condition cargo cover for my trailer. I haven't gotten around to do anything with it till now. Turns out it has an extention sewed onto the bottom of it. I only bought the cover, I didn't get anything else with it. I attached a picture, of the actual cover that I'm...

Holes on driver side fender of 813A1 - what bracket

It sure is. I had a new battery dropped off, for the Deuce this past weekend. The Second battery should be here sometime this week. So as soon as it arrives, I'll throw them both in the truck, and test out the convoy light for you...........I mean..... I would, if I could, test the light out...

One Piece Cast Aluminum Rims for Deuce

I have my 53" XZL's on a 10" wide wheel. I wish they were 12's. They look much better on a wider wheel.

    O Lordy

Even with the pink paint, it can't fix the "UGLY" of an A3.

    Painting Stainless

When I paint over stainless, I'll DA it first, with 80grit to give the primer something to grip to so it doesn't flake off later on. Then wipe it down with thinner, prime it and paint it. The mirrors on my Deuce were pollished stainless at one time also.

Started fabricating a hitch for the truck

In my opinion, 110-volt welders are best for sheet metal body work or hobby welding, not for a hitch for a 13,000# truck. Not saying it cant be done. That being said, in picture #3, your weld does look like it has good penetration between the two pieces. (small picture though) You could...

Do we have an official Bobbed Deuce picture thread? If not, here it is! Post em!

    1) I kept the M105 trailer frame attached to the box. My reason is, I'd like to turn it in to a dump box eventually, when I acquire the rest of the parts. So with the frame attached, the structure is there, just add some hydraulics and a hinge point.......someday..... when I learn how to...

Do we have an official Bobbed Deuce picture thread? If not, here it is! Post em!

I guess I never posted pictures of mine in the "Official Bobbed Deuce" thread. So here ya go....as a new born and all grown up.

What are you using to collect WMO

Instead of just rolling the full 55 gallon drums off the back of the truck and letting them crash directly to the ground, and hopeing for the best. Place two stacked car tires (with out rims) on the ground where the drum will fall. It'll give it a nice soft cushion, even with a 3' drop.

    Just Bobbed the Deuce

Looks good. Are you going to keep the duals in the rear? One thing that I see missing though.......a convoy light :-P (inside joke)

    Old Faithful never fails (Yet!)

I had met him before, but I do not presonally know him on any level. I believe he owns, his own Diesel shop now. I think it's called Merchant Automotive.
