    Correcting a mistake

Actually it is my understanding that Ford offered the 7.3L Power Stroke. Dodge competed in the CUCVII with the 5.9 Cummins.

    Canvas and paint

When you set that M42 up please post pictures I'd like to see that! The other choice would be to raise the garage...might be a bit costly to do that, but hey aren't our beloved MVs worth it... :)

I looked at the pics and thought huh did he buy used shoes, but no they where "new". Glad the money worked out but sad you wont be able to parade in 9 days.

    Rotor puller

So long as it works! I am glad I saw this post otherwise I would have gone to start working on my front axle and would just have gotten a BFH and probably broke something in the process.

    Purchasing a CCKW .........Maybe ??????????????

Rebuilding big trucks has their own set of challenges. First of when you say rebuild are you talking about a ground up restoration? You'll need a large barn or warehouse to work in as these don't fit in most home garages. The parts are larger and therefore even heavier so for things like cab...

    WC-51 Restoration or Bust!!

A old friend of mine who had worked at the tank plant in Cleveland (now the IX center) would always say the same thing when we were working on a MV restoration. He would say "You know what my foreman at the tank plant would say don't you? It's an army vehicle not a Cadillac! Paint it and move...

    M880 factory color

I think that unpainted section of the M887 box is the field drab color. A dark brownish green.

    77 m882

Someone having too much fun with a white spray can....I think it was an indicator from DRMO that the truck was being demilled or even was to be crushed.

Steps / Nerf Bars Added to LSSV

    Fav/Dpv 1009

I googled it also and couldn't find any pictures of it. So according to the laws of the internet...no pics means they don't exist! So make it how ever you want I'm sure it will be cool. I would think that if someone made a FAV/DPV M1009 that to my mind the cargo cover would come off...

H1 HMCS to Military Slantback conversion

Is that a military slant back that you made fit or did you fabricate your own? It looks good either way I'm just wondering.

    Crew Cabbin'

Well to do that you will need to either lengthen the frame or get a different frame and drop the body onto it. Though a crew cab canvas top would be interesting. Maybe look into a modern truck like a GMC/Chevy crew cab truck and drop the M37 crew on to the frame. You would get modern running...

    Need help choosing color

This is just my humble opinion but looking over the picture of your truck there again in my opinion is nothing special there. It looks like the truck may have been painted over at some point and are those primer spots on the truck? I would just paint it and have fun driving it. Now if the...

    Fuel Injection for the 230?

Would the computer for the system be 12V? Would that be a problem in a 24V system? I know you could tap one battery etc but I'm just kind of wondering out loud.

Looking for a few M151A1C Parts

I have never seen either of those parts in the last 28 years of being in the MV hobby. I hope you find them, but you may have to fabricate your own. The antenna bracket doesn't look to hard to make, the ammo steps may take a little more work, but should also be do able.
