It once was tan, now its blue!!!

The blue looks good, not bad at all. It's not that unique though...................... It's obvious that you copied the blue paint scheme from the deuce that's in your avatar.

    stock deuce 65 mph

I don't think I ever drive my Deuce over 50mph. It's an old machine and was never intended to drive at highway speeds. I drive it because I enjoy it.

    M35A2 Hillbilly Trailer?

The axle is a Rockwell RS 23,000# with 4.88's and a Detroit locker It's the same axle that would come in the large Peterbilt or Kenworth trucks. Here's a picture of the rear axle, I put a soda can in there for size reference.

    M35A2 Hillbilly Trailer?

No, I don't mind you asking, LOL. I sold it for $1600. I realy had no idea what it was worth, but I didn't have much into it other than time. (I built it and painted over the weekend) The bed was left over, and back in 2007 scrap wasn't much during that time. Plus everything else I had around...

    M35A2 Hillbilly Trailer?

I had a Deuce box left over from a project and it was in just too nice of shape to scrap. I also had a set of 7000# Dexter axels with springs and equalizers given to me that had been sitting in the back 40 for a few years, as well as a set of load range "E" tires and a set of one-ton wagon...

Who has shovel, axe and basic tool set?

Here's my Pioneer tool rack. I used a fiberglass shovel for mine, and painted it OD. It was a bit too long for the rack, so I ground down the rivet/bolt that holds the handle on, cut down the shaft and just used a bolt to fasten the handle back on. It works for me, and it's on a bobbed...

    New Kid in Michigan!!

Welcome to the site.... You must have bought that truck from the junkyard up in Shelby/Hart??? I looked over that truck when I bought my hardtop from him back in April. It was in pretty nice shape, other than the front damage. I thought he had a bumper, grill and some other pieces to fix it...

My first dent in my trailer. Boo who.

Yes, a front mounted pintle is the only way to back a trailer into a tight spot.

    GL dragging feet on claim

I agree 100%, it's your trailer/property with the paper work to prove it.

    Want to own a 10-Ton

Looking over craigs list I came across this 10-Ton for sale. It's about 20 minutes north east from me. Seems cheap to me for a complete running and driving 10-Ton. I figure someone here might need it, I spent all my money on a little Deuce:oops:........maybe I can convince the wife...

    Oops? GL screw up??

With some time and skillful fab work, you should be able to shoe-horn that bad boy between the frame rails of a M151.

I never relized XZL's were so huge!!!

The tires are heavy, but not that heavy. The trailer has a 3500# axle, and the trailer weighs 530# empty. As for the tires, they are rated at 1695# each at 50psi. (I looked at the load rating , when I was checking the air pressure in the tires the night before I went to get the XZL's) I...

I never relized XZL's were so huge!!!

They were already on his trailer, so I backed my trailer up to his and rolled them from one to the other. Let me tell ya.... if one got away from you some how and tipped over or fell on you while loading them on the trailer, it could do some damage. You'd feel that one in the morning.

generator trailer burnt to the ground

Outch!! The worst thing about a fire, is that usually nothing is ever salvageable:cry:

I never relized XZL's were so huge!!!

I've been looking for a little bigger tire to run on my shorty Deuce. Something in the size of maybe a 14.00 or so. But I came across a set of five Michelin XZL 16.00-20's, four of them already mounted on 12" wide double bead lock wheels, with the 6-bolt Rockwell pattern. The tires have atleast...

Has anyone ever taken two extra headlight buckets and made a four headlight Deuce? Might not look bad......just to be different

Grand Rapids, Mi. I had my eye on it also, but I was gone Thursday so I missed putting a bid on it. It went cheap I thought. (hind-sight:roll:) Item 818111893 (1945 GMC M47 Military Wrecker Truck, S/N:2457. rusty, operates, winches work, boom operates up/down and side to side, Hercules gas...
