I took the starter relay apart and the reason for the push button became evident.
I took the starter relay apart and put it under the microscope.
As you can see in the photo I posted, the relay became a jumper.
I believe you are right. I did find a ignition switch just laying in the truck (maybe a spare or they replaced the switch already?), so I feared for the worst. But after replacing the Starter relay with one from napa (as it is described in many links here before).
I turned the key and was able...
Can you see these tabs?
The pouch slides onto that rail on the door.
And can you see this snap?
The pouch fastens to the door with this snap.
And can you see this button?
It holds the snap of the pouch to the door.
I could make it a bit more clearer to you, but I ran freshly out of crayons.
It's 8x10" and made to fit in the folder holder. Not sure if they are available. But I would think so. You can find pretty much everything on the market.

I didn't see levelox's reply as an insult. It's your right to use whatever you want in your trucks transmission. As it was said before , The Army just uses oil as it is simpler and it is one of the fluids specified by Allison to work in the FMYV transmission. I won't last as long though. which...
I appreciate all the suggestions and help.
And now i also have something to ad to gelp othes maybe.
instead of trying to take off the ether bottle and weigh it or take off the fitting and sniff the air for ether. Do this:
-make sure the solenoid actually engages and is not stuck.
-remove the...
@snowtrac when you use your system and press the button does it make a noise? A hissing of some sort or so?
How do you know if it ejects or if the bottle is empty?
