With the colder weather many of us find out ghat their ether system is empty.
I know ether is not the best thing for the engine and I read something like one can use a propane torch to warm the intake air.

When i push the ether start button. Dors it make a noise , like a hiss or so?
if it does then my bottle is empty, because i don't hear anything.
Master on, of couse and push the bomb button for 3 secs

today i started the truck without ether. Took a bunch of cranks.
tomorrow ill try pushing that button for 3 secs wait 3 secs and then try to start the engine. See if it does any better.
But yes you are right, i dont know if it is indeed empty, for sure yet.

Its been posted here already by me of how to remove the potting. But you said these units are easy to repair, but you didn't share with the group what you did to remedy the problem.
I posted a link to a completed listing on ebay, where this truck sold for 23k it was a 1995 . Not an active listing . However someone gave me an infraction and deleted the link SMH. It was a completed auction, i want to put that out in the open once again. People are a bit trigger happy lately.
