After the work from the previous post I thought all was good but it was not.
I headed out to the truck pull and my truck didn't make if but about 15 miles before it started losing power, blowing smoke, and stumbling. So I stopped...
My truck did the same thing. I needed up having to ditch the box filter for a spin on. My filter base started sucking in air so I got rid of it. To determine my filter was bad I used a small clear inplace of the stock unit and all the issues went away.

I would say you just spray some wd40 on the selonoid shaft.
Just remember less is more. You don't want to just submerge everything in it.

Spin on fuel filter, oil pressure gauge, tachometer, and straight piped exhaust. Resistor bypass, power ports in cab, And lots of off road lights. Stereo with plenty of speakers
One I have not done are engine, trans, and exhaust temp gauges. Then turn up the injection pump.
