What have you done WITH your wrecker this week?

The neighboring property is a cotton gin. It's been rebuilt over 3 generations so there's lot of old structures around.

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

Did the M871 in tan as it was originally tan. The M915A1 went green as it was originally green. No they wont be paired together or else it would all be green. Now to give it a day before going back for the black markings. P.S. This is why I've not been quick to update the "Tale of Two...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Honestly no idea since the supply on 5 ton trucks has dried up.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Let me know what you think of them on your truck. I've been running them on my M923A2 and M915A1 which they feel more fit for the M915A1. I find the drive slower on the M923A2 so I'm stepping up to 16.00's.

    U.K. Chieftain Moving Costs

I know the Chieftan you speak of and the owners should have some contacts in the UK that have hauled for them before. Sea transport will vary so much it's not going to help for me to give a ballpark, just nature of the beast. If you're in no rush then great! Just be ready to pull the trigger at...

    What have I found?

The more I look at it the less I believe it's a military vehicle, and more so just parts of one combined to a civilian truck.

    Orange 6TLs????

I'm guessing "new brand but the same old great taste." http://www.batterymart.com/p-odyssey-pc2250st-battery.html

What have you done WITH your wrecker this week?

I've been cleaning up the property so not much time to snap pictures (lots of mundane lifting). The fun thing to move is always the M1079 box (6500-8000 lbs range) and takes max boom lift to get above it when it was on the M871.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

It came exactly like that from the scrap heap. The previous owner kept everything stock and stopped working on it half way through the inside of the box (I'm guessing due to liner issue).

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Saved this girl from the scrap heap last fall and just replaced the motor (old one ate the liners). Soon she'll get 16' and maybe some paint. She's a super clean truck.

    M275a1

That may even be my picture too. I sent it to him saying "I'm lonely" so he'd go pick it up!

    M275a1

I remember seeing that one at the GSA lot, even helped NDT take a peek at it. Glad she's going to a good home.

how durable, long term, are the m101a2 vinyl covers

A few years pending where you live and the climate. Direct sun will break them down so UV protectant or keeping it under cover is ideal. Also putting a plank of particle board across the bows helps keep it from retaining water and stretching the material & seams out (a bonus is not getting wet...

    Spare tire area ideas

I've always wanted to put a fold up ladder for easy access to the bed.
