My M127 has the dual electric systems also. all the M127's that i have looked at have this. made it easy for me as i towed it home with a civi tractor.
Hey B - Man whats the 5th wheel off of? is that a newer style? tires look great and i dont know about the directional thing. let us know how they wear. i have heard bad things about wear patterns on these. truck looks good!
I know where a couple of these big boys are. they have been rebuilt and are pretty nice. BUT they are headed for china. via the scrapper. i will try to save them and part them out or whole them to some one. just hate to see them cut if someone can use parts and such. are there many different...
oops wrong pic.. trying again. looking for a shot that shows the 5th wheel height with the M127. any civi trailer will be much worse. they normaly run 47" 5th wheel height. add the 16.00's and add 6 " to your 5th wheel height.
rizzo, if your planning to run the 16's you will not like the performance on the road. my 819 is less than 38,000 and empty its a dog on hills. i put 20,000 on the hook and i liked it even less. empty i guess it's not that bad but im used to a little more horse. it will get 12-00's as soon as...
And i'm sure it's worth every bit of the hassle. thanks for posting up these. great looking set up! not one that we see every day around here. cept down near the base.
Re: Heat?
when this pic was taken it was my truck. passenger was not to cold, i think his nerves kept him warm. something about heavy snow and ndt's mixed with heavy holiday traffic? :?
so you need the one that feeds from the left side of the truck? and you have one that feeds from the right? is it new? the one i have not modified yet is for a deuce. pm me and we will work it out.
David one other thing. if you dont have the parts and need heat you can redneck it like we did by putting the heater in side and running longer hoses to it and you have heat.
David, rite over the heat shield straight back is where it pokes thru the fire wall. At the fire wall is a 2 piece elbow with a damper. runs via hose to diverter box near the middle of fire wall. from the diverter box it goes to the 2 defrosters and or floor. heres a pic of the WRONG diverter...
the loosing prime is just that-- the fuel leaks down from the pump because of an air leak. the Cummins dont like air in the fuel at all. does strange things.
