It may also be time to take the wiring harness firewall connection apart and clean it. Many times the connections are so dirty with all the black goo that electricity will not flow correctly.
A wire brush and a can of electrical contact cleaner will help a lot.

Even though a truck may not require an EUC it is still listed on the munitions list and is restricted for export along will associated parts.
I would contact one of the big vendors that has an export license. Eastern, Memphis, etc
We had a user hijack your thread asking how to title a HMMWV. We have had a rash of people asking the same question.
Sounds like I may also need to come back to Vegas soon.
With the new sales of HMMWVs from GovPlanet and Govliquidation many people are asking on how to title them for on-road use.
The government is allowing these trucks to be sold by the auction sites but with the restriction that they are for OFF-ROAD use only and WILL NOT be titled for on-road...
One of the HMMWV guys can better answer that question. Hopefully they will post soon.

I always recommend that you have the original direct drive starter rebuilt. Most of the gear reduction starters that are out there now are Made in China and the quality is just not up to par.
