What price range are you looking at?
The one in my avatar will be going up for sale soon. Needs a new master cylinder and the rest of the brakes gone thru. but the rest of it is pretty solid.
Thats the reason I did mine with the trailer frame set up. It was quik and easy and if I decided I didn't like it I could just unbolt it and roll it out from under and start over.
I hauled .98 of a ton of scrap metal to the salvage yard when I was done and it didn't even squat it 1/4 inch.
I...
I'll get some more pics tomorrow or Friday.
The one I have doesn't really pivot. The top portion slips over the lower tube and is held in place by the pin that holds the angled piece that braces the top part.
Edit: by the TM it looks like the extendable part is the same for both styles of...
In my case, Glen (91w350) only had trucks with 11.00's on them in his yard, I got the whole setup you see in the pic with my Jeep for less than what they want for just the base plate on ebay. (not to mention what shipping would be on that heavy thing.)
M818 with a davit and 11.00 spare. For now, Iplan to go with 14's and will modify what ever needs modifying.
Edit: Gimp, Thats exactly what I am planning on doing when I get my deuce bed cut down and put on the M818. I was hoping some of the trucks Glen has in his yard would have that type...
Whats under the front of your truck Ridgerunner? I know its custom built and braced but essentially its no different than a 105 frame cut and put under the rear of the truck.
The LED bulbs (the last 2 pics) should be in the Black Out part of the taillight and you will not be using those with your 12V civy truck. Just disreguard those 2. The only ones you need to be concerned with are the top 2. I believe the part #'s are1156 and 97
It's there for bracing the cab. Remove it at your own risk. If you have a soft top, I wouldn't. Even with a hard top, with the folding windshield, your going to get some flex of the back of the cab.
There are some posts on here stating that a S-250 will fit in an un-modified 101. It has to be lifted up and set it, not slid in. I personally have not confirmed this as I do not have a wrecker to lift mine that high.
If you're just using the trailer to go get the shelter take a 105. But if...
Thats not 100% accurate. The Taliban and Al Q? have nothing that would match the A-10. If only the current ROE would allow us to use it to its full potential.
However I fully believe in "Peace, through superior firepower"
Nope, I found that at the same FD that the truck came from. I know a guy thats a volunteer there and just asked him if by chance the tailgate might be laying in a scrap pile. He went and looked and found it tucked away in the corner of the barn.
I do need to find or fabricate some lower hinges...
Ifyou get the right LED lights they will work on both 12V and 24 volt.No more swapping bulbs. But make sure you get ones that are rated for both. Not all LED lights willwork on 24V.
I could be wrong but Ive seen packaging that said 12v, some say something like 10V to 36V.
I'd hate to see you...
