My 002A had 10 hours since reset and the Hz meter is intermittent at best and when it does work is off. I use a Kill-O-watt meter and leave it pluged in all the time. I set the Hz and volts to what I want when warm and leave the throttle set.

The diesel shop I worked at used JB weld all the time on injector pumps that were cracked, no problems that I know of.

Just found this, Fuel pump filter and gasket kit FEP42370 from NAPA P/N 610-1086 just ordered some. 8.99 plus shipping

IP Mine had less than 10 hours run time after reset. IP arm was stiff, turn out the dog bone looking part in the pump had broken. I may have broken while tring to start the set with stuck pump plunger. You can take the pump off and try soaking it in carb cleaner to see if that frees it up. But...

Yes I did but will go through the process again. The star wheel seems to move with ease. It did not seem to change the droop much but it did change how much throttle travel you can get. At one point I could not get over 60 Hz with the throttle. So I turned it back the other way. It never did...

If I increase the throttle to cover the droop, then when the load drops off the Hz jump to about 65 Hz. If I could get it down to 2 hz droop, I would be happy.
