I have a problem picking up my local stations. I installed the stereo in my M1009 and all works and sounds good, but the antenna does not seem to work very well. I used a universal antenna like LMC sales. I also ran a ground wire from the antenna stud to the body, any other ideas? Thanks

Replace all your rubber vac lines from the pump to valve. Remove the rubber elbow looking item, mine was cracked. Run the line from pump to bottom input on valve, run top outlet on valve to trans hard line. Replace small rubber line to the modulator valve on side of trans, mine was...
Mine was leaking from the shaft seal and you could see it leaking. We took it apart on the truck and replaced the shaft seals, runs fine still and no leak.
I did, I was trying to answering his question with what I knew. And the CH49 is the intake heater not the glow plugs as he ask about. The glow plug part number is 333-0107 as per the TM.
Welcome Lurker: I do know the CUCV has a resistor pack that steps 24 down to 12 volts for the glow plugs. However it can cause a cascade failure if you have some plugs fail by boost volts to what remains. So it can be done but not by me! But most convert it over to 12 volts.
