What did you do to your deuce this week?

Wanted to ispect the air filter element and inadvertently pinched the wires going to the temp sending unit and flame starter ignitor when closing the filter housing. Looks like I will be doing some cutting and splicing soon.

    Fuel injected 42 WC

Cool idea and the beauty is you could always unbolt the mod and go back to the carb if you wanted to. I would be interested in hearing how she goes down the road once you get her dialied in.

    Cummins 5.9L in a Deuce?

If you are going with a 6BT Cummins I would lean toward a variant that does not need a computer for simplicity. I have owned 6BT powered Dodge pickup trucks since 1992 and I like the simplicity of the 12V (no computer). I currently have a 2001 Dodge (24 valve engine with 208K miles) and its...

Selectable hubs and t case sync

My M35A2 has locking hubs on the front axle and I use the transfer case to split gears all the time. So far no issues in 6 years with my current truck or the previous truck. I just dont engage the front axle while the truck is in motion unless my hubs are locked.

MB Engine Question for you experts

If you want to know the date of manufacture for a Willys MB engine you can drop the oil pan and look for a date stamp by the rear main seal. I admit it is extreme, but I have seen cases where the number stamped on the boss behind the oil filter housing can be misleading.
