Just like you post a thread in this forum. You open up the forum you want to post in, then you click on them "post new thread" icon and go from there.
What issues are you having?
No. The lever is there to change the sprag from forward to reverse. There is a linkage that goes from the lever to the shift rail of the trans.
Definately a sprag case.
Good grief, does every thread have to turn into a "how to register a HMMWV" thread?
People are fixing to start getting infraction points. We've warned and warned about this.
They aren't many left to be auctioned. At least not as many as in the past.
You may want to check www.govplanet.com as they now have the contract for selling all the rolling stock.
Most (if not all) states go by what's legal in your home state. If it's legal to not have a fuel decal in your home state, you should be ok in other states. At least that's the way it's been in the states I've traveled.
This is all assuming you're not running commercial tags. If commercial...

I just pulled these two from the bottom of this page.

The more I research this, the more confused I am.
If you use any of the online BTU calculators, you come up with around 3,000 BTU taking the square footage of the shelter. But when you surf the RV sites people with real world experiences say that I'll need at least 9,000 BTU.
I haven't even...
You can't hardly give away a sprag. I do keep a couple around though because a lot of parts will interchange with a air-shift.
If it's a proven good air-shift, I'd think it would at least be worth $250. Maybe more.
You might want to hang onto it though. You never know when the one in the truck...
Basically I just want it cool to sleep in. In the past we've just been sleeping under the cargo cover and it's hard to sleep on those hot summer nights. It would be nice not to walk into a oven going in there during the day but that's not a main concern.
My power source will be generator power...
Anybody have any idea on how big of A/C unit it would take to keep a S-280 cold in the summer? I've searched the web and several RV sites but I'm getting conflicting information.
I've been looking at the small split units as my S-280 doesn't have the big holes in the front to mount A/C. I...
The only disadvantage I see in using a deuce to haul bees is the cab isn't very air tight (read bee tight). I would worry that bouncing around on rough ground the bees might get angry and come after you.
A "tee" won't work. Everything has to be plumbed in series on a open center system. Here's a diagram of a open center system to give you a idea of the principle of operation- http://www.valvehydraulic.info/hydraulic-circuit-design/hydraulic-open-center-system.html
Yes I know. I'm changing some of the info on the plate so I need a custom plate, a repo plate won't work. Dataplates.net says they can do it but need to know the size.
They aren't terribly expensive. First you need to find out what size you need, to find that out you need to know the torque required (in inch/lbs) to turn the input shaft.
Get a measurement of the winch drum diameter. Divide the drum dia by 2, then multiply than number by you desired line pull...
