I can't really use the truck with how long it is. I can't turn it around in a confined area.
If i stripped out the frame and swapped it all over to a different frame (other then making alot of work), what would i be saving? A long frame? Are these that special?
I had posted this truck on...
There would be alot to swap over. the power steering, dual brake system, engine and transmission. It's a CAT 3116 not a cummins. 5 speed ZF transmission. It rolls down the highway pretty good.
They had some M36A2 a while back on GL in PA.
I like the setup with the tools box and the spare tire. I want to do tha same thing with my M36E3. I am trying to get a M105A3 bed for it. But i will have to cut the frame on that one.
If you are still interested they are one steer and one straight, ie front and back axles. You wouldn't be buying the whole truck just the front and one back axle. I would remove them for you, after I was paid for them.
I was thinking of cutting down my M36E3. I don't know if that counts or not. I was thinking of getting the tool box and the spare tire carrier from an M818 and also using a M105 trailer box.
But that is in the future.
this is just what I would have done.
I would have made the seller get a title in their name and then transfer the title.
that is just what I would have done
Oh and photocopies are a good idea as well.
