Tire chirps and shudder in reverse

Remember also that you have a limited slip differential. Basically normal behavior on a loose surface.

    RPMs and air leak

You can look into buying a laser tachometer from Monarch Instruments or another manufacturer. Put a piece of reflective tape on the crankshaft pulley and compare the laser tach readings to what soldier B reads on the dashboard tach. PM me if you want more info. By the way, I like to cruise my...

    transmission question

My M923 does this. I think it's normal just like the bump when a CUCV up shifts. Remember that you are running a big tuck empty.

    Hello from Oakley Ca!

Welcome from down south. I had to look up where Oakley is located. You're right near the MVPA meet at Tower Park in April. I really like plan #8!

    Split Rim Safety

I had a tire shop mount a 9:00-20 tire on a deuce wheel for me. I noticed the tech not using a safety cage (they had one), so I went into the waiting room and watched wrestling on their tiny TV. I was half expecting to hear a big boom, but the guy got away with it somehow.

Riverside, CA Air Show April 5th 2014

It was cool to see the C-17 back up several humdred feet on the taxi way as well. They had the door open in the back with some airman watching. I guess C-17's don't come with rearview mirrors. I might make it out with the new rig.

Chopping the Top Lower. Windshield Chop Modification

Just an FYI: When I had my deuce, it was hard to see stoplights at intersections without leaning forward and looking up, and I'm only 5'10". This will only get worse if you chop down the windshield.
