Hey Ron, please ask your wife how this works. My new phone is also an HTC and I would love to figure out how to access SS without Tapatalk.
Thanks,
Matt
BTW: The original reason for this request is that I am trying to rely on the phone so I don't get in trouble viewing SS on my work...
Guys,
I notice some members have their text set to a yellow color. For those of us forced to use Tapatalk on smart phones, the yellow text becomes almost invisible.
Please consider using something other than yellow when choosing a text color. Thanks! 8-)
Does New York state have a historical or collector vehicle registration? I pay like $80 per year in the great state of California for my M35A2. If I went commercial, it would be like 10 times higher.
Just when the engine is cold, or once she is up to temperature?
A little smoke on acceleration is normal. You should see how a CUCV smokes at high altitudes.
Ditto here on the two-stroke oil. I use it in the M35A2 and M1009. It adds lubricity to the ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel we are forced to buy these days.
Interesting engine shots. The side draft carb and intake manifold are unusual. I would swear that alternator is a Chrysler product. The oil filter looks like it could be a Military Standard Jr. used on many jeeps.
It sure sounds like the pump diaphram is torn or has a hole in it. The fuel pump is still pumping some gas, but not enough to feed the engine at higher RPM's. It is also pumping or leaking gas into the crankcase.
You'll have to replace the fuel pump (again) and change the engine oil and filter.
Interesting little truck. Like the Mule, it can carry more than its own weight. Do you have any engine photos?
And a big welcome to the site from a California Texan!
That's right, 1/2-13 UNC-2A threaded bolt, 3 3/4 inches long. Ace should have it, in Grade 8 too, if that's what you need. A four inch long bolt might work too.
I have the old style legs too and they are horked up as well. I'm using the trailer for storage and don't even have a tractor, so I really don't care. I move the trailer with a forklift when needed.
I would prefer to have the newer style landing legs.

A couple more tips for top installation:
Spread the top out on the ground and let it sit in the sun for a few hours. This makes it more flexible and easier to work with.
Dish soap can also be used as a lube in the windshield channel. However, you may get soap bubbles in the cab the first...
