I now have the Goodyears 395 85 20's (I do not want to wear these monsters unevenly!! the contact patch is easily 10x as much as NDT's and that's 10x the resistance for steering alignment to fight against (over inflate)

I have done lots of searching, but i cannot find a step by step for replacing JUST the ZIPPERED boot!... all I find are one piece how to's
i dont want/ or have the time/ money to to a total tear down of both sides
i need replacement zippered ones for both sides where do you get...
well mines about 10 years old but fits easily AND you can use ALL the adjustments
its Bostrom Talledega series 915 (from a freightliner)
hope it helps paid 105 from a wrecking yard has 3 air adjustments, 4 manual adjustments and 2 adjustable folding arm wrests!! loooove it!

yes!! Finally seat is in!! welded to plate steel and bolted in stock holes VERY comfortable!!
now have many adjustments attached air line with quick fit 1/4 in tube
add 2 Semi truck air horns w/ shut off to the exisiting horns LOUD!!!

i just brought it home from Spalding parts in Spokane WA.
I paid $110 for nice condition Boston with 4 air adjustments and a couple other adjustments too!! with 2 adjustable arm rests!! VERY comfortable and fits nice
they have several other seats as well... about $70- 150 im working on how to...
oo ok that would be why the box is not in the way...
i think i will need to go the plate route for the reasons you mentioned, I just have not seen any others who ave done this mod mention the plate or how to mount the seat..
and by tool box i meant the storage box under the cab :grin:

the seat itself fits fine BUT.....
how did you mount your base to the floor/?? espically with the tool box blocking access to where the bolt would go??

I just finished installing my Grover semi-horns!!
I just "T" off the stock horns and now I have 4 blowers!!!
the sound is Soo loud and un-believable!! its like the high pitched stockers and the much lower semi's all blend together and sound like...
they are perfect for boiling off H2o out of WMO too!! as well as "passive" heat... I had my oil up to 290F could go much hotter, but oil got too bubbly..
also, mine was the version that had the metal "disk" with hinges around the top for attachment to a "water buffalo"
took me a LOOONg time to...
These seem like a cheap and effective way to go BUT how do you figure out how to wire these things in??
