What years are we talking, Rizzo? There are a few oddities in the Motorhome engines with the cooling systems, but I'd need a year model to get anything specific.
Part number 53009180AB is $13.00 List at the dealer per Mopar's pricing. If you guys need any Mopar part related info, let me know as I'm sitting here in the Parts Dept all day long anyway, lol.
Headers would solve the manifold issue. A B series engine would also not be as wide. There are short tailshaft versions of the 727, but good luck finding one for a big block as they are rare. Might be worth it to swipe one out of a old aircraft tug and swap the tailshaft and housing. You...
Use a photo editing program, the same one you used to re-size should work, and when you are done with the pic, click "File", then "Save As" and below where you type in the file name there should be a drop down menu that will list several file formats. You want the one labeled JPEG or .jpg.
You going to keep the old style lamps or are you going with the newer style or LEDs? Also, I notice the rims are unpainted. Are you going to run the stock ones or get something else? Nice work, I am extremely jealous of your skills, resources, and most of all, time! Lol.
Also with a spool, there is no way to relieve the stress of turning except for tire slip, which builds up stress and releases it suddenly only to build it back up again. This really fatigues the axle shafts and joints and will almost always eventually lead to a failure. The rock crawlers are...
Granted you would have a lot more cargo capacity, but would the crane boom be long enough to service even a 28' trailer? And would the fuel and maintenance costs of the larger 5 ton make swapping everything off the Deuce feasible? I like the idea, but I'm wondering if the added cargo space...
Hmmm, I'm curious, why the need for a back window? There's no rearview mirror, and it's probably too high up to see much. I'm used to driving truck with a sleeper, so no back window is normal to me. In my pickups the backlight is normally tinted so dark it might as well not be there anyway...
I agree with Chris, after doing the fiberglass bit once, I'll never do it again. If you could keep it all sealed and dry it would be ok, but that's near impossible and before long it has eat out all the metal around the fiberglass and there's nothing to hold it in. Especially with a MV that...
How about the front winch? Might be easier to pull from the side rather than straight up. I assume you would have to break off the center root (depending on the tree) and that might be hard to pull it apart upwards. Might be hard on the sheer pin though. Only experience I have with stump...
I don't know. The fact that I sometimes have redneck tendencies sort of lets me relate to this and see the humor and cool factor, but I do have to admit that technically this was probably illegal in the eyes of authority and if you were caught doing it it would look bad on you and possibly the...
Could not a 5 ton Cargo be used for the same purpose since they have a bed longer than a M35? Sure, there are more restrictions to owning a 5 ton as compared to a Deuce but they are much easier to come by than a M36 and have power steering, available Cummins engine and more tire and rim...
I don't believe that is an electrical switch. I think that is the release for the seatbelts so they will retract when the door is opened. The door jamb switch should be in the hinge area and should look something like this:
