You don't need a CDL to drive the truck by itself. Ill be at the rally in S. Oregon that week or I would help out. (don't stop at any weigh stations either) Yes I know what I,m talking about, I have a class A and have driven 5 tons and never stop or have had any problems with ODOT. Good luck.
Then you have to deal with shippers who I just found out are almost all flakes. Rule number one for me is to transport it myself. On another note, yes things are high there but that's why I bid all the time and only win one or two things a year.

I know someone on here changed theirs out to the hemtt rims and had to shave some off the hubs and the hemtt rims are 20"? So they should work or have to shave very little.
I would consider swapping the tranny and gaining a higher top end. The CTIS I would remove because it makes the tires out of balance but can be balanced out with some work if you really want it. Other than that maybe a car radio.
good luck.

I heard that Idaho motor pool is really good to deal with. I had a local guy from grants pass do mine. I had to source most of the parts and charged me by the hour. I ended up using a donor truck with the front leaf springs and cutting the bed down 3 feet.
