    great thread so far, I looked at brads turbo project on his 923. I plan on installing a turbo and increase fuel with one of these methods. Since I'm not an expert on diesel engines I plan on consulting and or working with a cummins shop.

    That is a good piece of advice, the A3 tranny is only a 4 speed and the smaller tires limit you to about 45 mph. If your going to spend the money get the 395. They are actually cheaper and you will get a better top speed.

    mine seems to idle at 30 and 60 drive. i would be a little worried about that 10-15 something seems funny about that.

    I didn't know they were getting rid of those trucks in good condition yet. How about bring a small generator and 4 battery chargers. Do your inspections while they charge. congrats on the truck.
