There is a rally first part of June near Grants Pass, SOMVCC 9Th annual I believe. Its a bunch of old guys with m38's mostly but it would be cool to have some SS members there with some heavy iron, I felt out of place last year with my M35A3. A Oregon rally on the dunes would be most excellent...
I know that there at least 2 other members in roseburg and im not to far away either. and of course we are all going to the rally Scott. When is the next one by the way?

This is a very common problem. All military trucks sit and sit. The battery gets drained down or low and when the truck is started the alternator gets overworked. The alternators are the same in all newer 2 1/2 tons including m35a3 and "newer" 5 tons up to 900 series. I had one fry on my A3...
I had a talk with CHP when I broke down on I-5. They said no CDL required for a deuce. But as you will read on the searches this issue is up in the air. To solve your problem you can buy my A3 and I will register it as whatever you want. :p
Scott is right, even though you don't have some OD iron yet come out to the rallies. Only bad part is you will really get hooked. Great group of guys up in that part. Wish I could make more functions but that's what happens when you live in the vortex.
