Towed an A2 with an A3 last week from weed, ca to medford, or. I like the second hole back leaving one exposed on the tow bar. The siskiyou pass was real white knuckle. Used the light bar with the magnetic LED warning lights. 15 MPH up and 20 MPH down.
don't want to be a big baby, but that tow bar is extended to far and no safety chains is a big ticket. Reminds me of when i first towed and got a verbal lashing (deserved)
thanks for the post, both my trucks pull to the right and was going to dig into it soon. I was thinking of changing out all tires with something else in the future due to the dry rot problem.
I consider myself well informed on the A3. I watch trucks sold and serial numbers. My guess is one more year with around 1000 trucks left. The A2 will be sold for many more years in reduced numbers and the 900 series has many more years due to the fact the many NG still have them in service.
some bad news for me. As some of you know im on a recovery at the moment. started in bend on Sunday, picked up A3 in las veagas Tuesday, made my way over to french camp today (Thursday) flat towed the A2 from the depot to a storage yard (total nightmare) now im outside of redding, ca and wont...
