Howdy gang! Got an issue with an mep 007b. The gasket that holds the muffler in place and stops it from rattling is gone. I found the gasket (71-4396) in the manual but its no where to be found online. Anyone have an idea on how to keep it centered?
Post that on Facebook and the so called fact checkers will call it misinformation and ban it. They will say its missing context and claim the kids were looking for diamonds and the genny is not running. :)
I removed both high idle spades and the rpm went down a bit. Then i discovered the top vacuum hose had a tear. Tommorow im going to replace all the hoses and see. Btw, i replaced the throttle spring with another thats tighter and it did solve the high idle issue but the pedal is hard and will...
Im in the heat all year so i disconnected the high idle solenoid and pulled back the shaft. I adjusted the throttle screw but no change. Its just an ⅛ of a pull to get her into the correct idle. Im gonna try another spring if not search for another throttle cable.
Howdy. Just installed by freshly rebuilt pump but the she is running a bit high on rpm. I can manually put the finger on the throttle lever and she will go down to the correct idle speed. I ruled out the pump weights since she spring back into position. I oiled my throttle cable and the...
Howdy. Just noticed my vacuum lines and they are flat as if the negative pressure is collapsing them. Could it be a bad pump or bad hoses. Those hoses were there when I got my m1008 but im gonna swap them just in case. Any suggestions on what hoses to use?
Here in PR the local consumer protection agency regulates the profit margin on fuel and has stations posting fuel delivery dates. This causes up and down pricing based on when the gas station got its fuel in relation to market prices. Its an anti gouging measure.
Check the magnetic pickup under the starter. Voltage should be from 2.3vac to 3vac. The tip is either ground off or full of metal scrapes. Sometimes its just a bad terminal. I use a broom stick to turn over the dead crank while looking at the voltmeter and slowly turning the mag pickup. Review...
Howdy folks. This is just a joke since I saw one of those old electric car turbo ads and got some inspiration. I must report that there were no noticeable performance improvements. Hope you all enjoy your memorial day weekend. 🍻
You can also use your car as a backup house "generator" in case of an outtage. Screw that, i will stick to my diesel genny that gives me power and can charge any future EV i might reluctantly buy.
