I am also putting ARB air lockers in my Deuce but mine is bobbed. I am running off the stock air system but I'm not using any electronics. I am going to plum a line to them using a stock air operated wind shield wiper knob. I can get 90 psi through it and I don't have to ever worry about a...
That was the first thing Jesse checked for me. It was just a bit low. He topped it off and dove it a couple days that way. After those couple days it bound up turning to the left and now will only turn right. I unfortuantly am on the other side of the world and can't mess with it right now. So...
Awhile ago I posted about my steering box getting tight after I turned full lock to the left. Fast forward a few months. I left my Deuce with a friend at his shop to baby sit her for me while I am deployed overseas. Now the steering will not turn to the left at all. So the long and the short of...
I drive my Deuce every day in San Diego traffic when I am home. I drive on the free way between 55 and 60 MPH no more. Everyone either goes around me or sits on my bumper. My truck is bobbed and I put 395's on modded HEMMT wheels. I leave my house early enough to do a walk around on the truck...

When I got my Deuce it ran crappy, and wouldn't get over about 30 MPH and had no power. After about 30 miles is started to kick and sputter and buck a bit. After trying to bash my head on the back of the cab for a mile it gave out a loud cough and ran fine, It had lots "for a Deuce" of power and...
I am already running 395's on modified HMMT wheels. But today I got given 4 brand new 53" XMLs mounted on 7 ton wheels with the CTIS system still installed. Has anyone used this wheel ? It's a 20" two piece wheel just like the HMMT wheel just a larger set of bolts holding it together. I will...
I built a square mount and bolted it to the floor with a 2 1/2 pipe welded to it. I stuck part of a cherry picker on it. It works great to lift my 395 spare to the bed. Sorry I don't have any pictures. Just imagine a cherry picker mounted in the bed. I made it swivel too.
I got it registered with no SMOG check. Finally. i printed out the law and took it to the registration service. He had to take it to DMV and then it was dropped. I should have my plates in a couple days. Right before I deploy for 6 months. Oh well. At least it'll be ready for when I get home.
Mine does the same thing. I had to pull my trans after I grenanded the input bearing on the trans after playing in a bunch of snow on a mountain last winter. I figured while in there I'd fix the clutch not releasing correctly. After looking at everything and finding nothing wrong I reinstalled...
I pumped 5 gallons of hydraulic fluid though it this evening without a hiccough. I chose hyd fluid because of how thick it is. Now that it's working I am almost ready for a 560 mile trip in Jan. I can't wait.
I am going to put a fuel filter inline on the pressure side of the pump. It should not syphon when the pump is off since the point where it enters the main tank is open to the air in the tank and not submerged by fuel. Plus I have an on off valve on the tank where the pump pulls from just...
Awhile back I bought a Dodge Tug for the engine for another project and kept the tank. I finally found a use for the tank yesterday. I needed a bigger fuel tank for a long drive coming up, so I improvised. It pulls from the outlet on the new tank and fills the main deuce tank using a nipple I...
Have fun with the project. That's what it's all about. I have done a couple now since we did mine and each time helps me remember why I Bobbed mine. I love driving mine around Bobbed.
