Might have been a replacement door. There was a lot of issues with folks opening the doors with the cab tilted and maybe the new door shells came without handles.

I'll try and swing by any LMTV I see but I'll be in my POV so a little more incognito.

Not sure about new stuff but any time I need a part I check with Suprman 1st. If he doesn't have something he generally knows where to get it.
