Are you talking the rear shocks? If so, they have some notes (well the old site did) that the 1 ton trucks use a 9/16" bolt where the shocks use 1/2". You either remove the shock sleeve or weld a 1/2" ID washer to each side of the mount and use a 1/2" bolt.
You can buy it on Amazon, for the gear reduction style

Higher voltage equals less amps.
Example, if a 12v starter needs 400 amps to start the engine, 24v would only need 200 amps. This is why the main starter cables are fairly small in size, as they don't need to carry as much current.
You can switch to a 12v starter but upgrade your main...
GV pros are very easy to install. Gives me gear splitting and living in SoCal, I have a lot of mountains to cross over to get to anywhere. Having a "2.5" gear could be very useful when 2nd is to high and 3rd is to low. I can get it with a fixed yoke and use a slip joint driveshaft, so if any...
Great post MarcusOReallyus. Just for reference that glow plugs are not needed, Cummins engines do not have glow plugs. They use compression only (well and a heating grid in the intake but many remove/disable that due to issues).
Biggest thing I seem to run into is, I haven't really found anyone who did a turbo setup on a M1010 keeping the dual passenger side alternator setup. Seems most are installing on M1008 or M1009 which uses a single pass. and driver side small alts.
I just cannot see how a turbo setup is going...
True, I actually haven't planned out things 100% so wood cost is unknown and definitely more work. Definitely want to see how this turns out. I have a couple designs I have been working on and I think this idea is winning so far.
I really love how this is turning out. I had seriously looked at 80/20 to frame out my plans but the cost started to get crazy. I love how it's like big kids version of an Erector set. LOL
What are you going to use to face these and how does that mount?
If you haven't installed a ORD steering box brace, I would seriously consider it so you don't crack the frame, especially since you are using the dropped pitman arm.

I have read on some other forums (can't recall now which ones) that GM stopped using that bar as it was leading to cracked trans cases. Just something might want to research more.
I am curious what you find out. What pricing are they doing for this? I am tossing between something like this or a Gear Vendors unit. Pros and cons to both.
Got some time on the M1010 Saturday and got the front shocks swapped out to Bilstein 5165 shocks. Surprisingly the original shocks still had pressure and were not leaking.
