Turn signals are fixed. I had a wire inside the loom right behind where they plug into the truck harness that was shorting out. Once I cut and spliced it they all work great. Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it.
Our flight equipment has the NSN for the bolts of MARPAT digital cloth. Using the NSN I am going to back trace to the manufacture and see if they will sell me a whole bolt. Since I need to reupholster the seat in the Deuce and both benches in my Ford.
The rear turn signal lamp burnt out so I replaced the bulb. Thats when I noticed the front wasn't flashing. I have a spare column mounted turn signal unit that I will try tomorrow after work. Thanks for the advice. I hope it works. I'd like to drive it again soon.
I installed a new LED light with the same results. If I use a rear regular light then the rear will flash but the front will not. If I install an LED rear light it will illumintate but not flash the front will still not illuminate. Not sure where to go from here. Kurt are you talking about the...
My M35a2 has truck light front LED signals and rear standard signals. I noticed that my front rh signal isn't working so I put another one on and still nothing. The lh works correctly. Any ideas where to start. I have good ground. Thanks.
There are a few done in digital and we just got the design approved by TACOM for DOD vehicle application. It takes about 4 days to do a HMMWV or a similar sized rig. The Deuce will take a little longer. And actually in a desert environment the digital breaks up the outline pretty well and does a...

I plan on recovering the seat in desert digital MARPAT to match the paint that I am going to apply. I'm going to paint it MARPAT digital to match my F350 and my cammies.
On the way home today from the hanger whereI get most of my big projects done the Gerbil fell off the wheel in sheer extacy. I could hear myself think, and my butt was planted in a comfortable seat. So here's what we got done today. There is now a 4" Magnaflow exhaust on the stack, and a Ford...
I am giong to pass on this one for now. It's a 6.6. There just ins't enough time to get it done with all the other projects I have to do before I move and deploy again. If it's still there when I get back home after this set of orders maybe then.
I am working with milemarker to make a bolt on winch mount and a heavier winch specifically for the Deuce. I will post if it gets approved and a time line.
If it is a 6.6 170 hp 170 hp @ 2600 rpm, 402 lb/ft tq @ 1600 rpm
If it it a 7.8 225 hp 225 hp @ 2400 rpm, 593 lb/ft tq @ 1500 rpm
I'll get some pictures in a couple of days. I'll have to drive back out to where it currently is rotting away. Also my RDS2500 Alison trans will bolt right to and...
I have the chance to pick up a 1988 F700 with 12,000 original miles on the od for way cheap. It has a turbo about the size of my deuces whistler. What I am wondering is once I figure out if I have a 6.6 or 7.8 is it a decent a swap. It has a 5 speed hooked to it already. And can I use the power...
I bought one because as a kid I watched two of my older brothers drive them when they were in the Army. Now that I have one I drive her all the time because she makes me smile. The second one I'm still trying to figure out how it made it home but it's there now so no worries. I think my first...
Not too sure about the mods on the pinz but there were 6 HMMWV's modded with dana 60 high pinion front and low pinion rears, detroit lockers, with fox coil overs, 5 links, and CV driveshafts with modded 6.5 turbos. They were made for SOCOM, so there is a history of vehicles made to meet a...
I hate tail gators and have put a few in the ditch, I lightly tap my brakes to get thier attention and let them know to back off. If that doesn't work I stand on the brakes to "avoid the bunny" and then promptly laugh as they careen off the road into the ditch. One guy actually hit me in my...
My allsions trans is a RDS2500 6 speed with over drive and 1st is granny gear specialy built by Allsion for me and programed to my specs. Once I get the trans installed Allison is going to send reps out to me to install the computers and run through the final tweeks until it is fully...
