This tranny is a little over twice the size of the Allison out of a Chevy. I was thinking of putting it in the Deuce because 1. I have the only two of these transmisions made. 2. I don't have a spare 5.9 Cummins right now, I have one but it is slated for my HMMWV. 3. I have a 15K onboard vehicle...
The tranny is a modified RDS 2500 6 speed. Allison is going to program the computers and install them once the vehicles are built. So I don't have to worry about the electronic part of it. Thanks for the web site info. I'll post a bunch of pics as I install this thing. I might use a Stak T-case...
It is a heavy duty trans with a dual bolt patern. It is a 6 speed with over drive. A PTO on both sides with seperate controlers for each side so they can be run indepenently of each other. Allison is coming up to calibrate it and it's brother once I get them installed in thier respective...
Okay here goes. I have two prototype Allison trannies that are the Cummins circle bolt pattern. These things will hold up to 33,000 lbs in tow and up to 800 lb ft of tq. What I want to know is. Is there a way to hook this tranny up to the stock LDT465. Thanks.
Okay I am about to stick my foot in it but anyway. I have a valve that is tapping I need to adjust it but I don't know which TM it is. I thought I downloaded them all and printed them. I was wrong. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks.
I moved my axle back 4 inches to line it up with the wheel well. I can also get your stock drive shaft completely rebuilt and lengthend for you for pretty reasonable. Just PM me if interested.
This Sat in rosamond ca is the parade of lights. my bobbed deuce will be there for toys 4 tots. i am not going to be there but a fellow Marine will be driving my Deuce. If you are interested pm me and i'll give you his phone number. Any vehicles would help. Thanks.
A freind and I are working on making some better than stock winch frame extensions. Give us a few weeks and we'll have a proto-type in the works. As you can imagine with work and family and holidays making new stuff from scratch takes time. But be patient and if it can be made we'll get it out...
On one of my CUCV Blazers I did the 12 volt conversion in about an hour. The other the harness was shot so I replaced the whole harness with a summit universal chevy harness. It took about 4 days to complete. It's not that difficult a job to do. Have fun with it.
I am starting the paint transformation on my freshly bobbed deuce on the 7th of Nov. I am going to paint it to match my F350. Marine Pattern Desert Digital. The only change to the norm will be the #13 in each door. My race number. As for painting your Deuce paint it whatever you want. It's your...
Semper Fi Marine. I am not sure what has happened other than maybe they are hiding from you. Be patient they will be back. Enjoy your career. I just re-enlisted for my last three.

I bought mine because when I was little two of my brothers were in the Army and I remember watching them drive them on manuvers around Camp Oleano and Camp Blanding for a few years. Then When I joined the Marine Corps we had a few left. Now we have 7 tons and I missed the Deuce.
I like the shortend look. I think I'll try it on my next deuce with the HMMWV ambulance body. So I'll still have the 6x6 look and functionality along with having a small camper as my bed. Not a bad deal in my book. High angle driveline is making my shafts for my current bobbed deuce. Maybe he...
