Buddy, Run! The mep 1041 unit runs at 400hz. Unless you will use it just for power drills or an airplane it wont work. You need the mep 1040.

Thanks for the suggestion. About a year back i ordered one but it did not fit even after removing the whole filter assembly with neck. It was not wide enough to fit in the down pipe. I even oiled it up a bit but no dice.

I actually just received my 813a today. Bought it to to replace a seized 803a. Spare parts is what these 400hz units are good for. You can use the genhead as a good boat anchor. Let the fun begin.

Rubber hose with a pex brass plug then a clamp and presto.

On a side note, make sure you retorque the oil pan. These white engines love to leak oil. Also, check the oil drain valve, I end up changing them cause they leak. The best part about this series is that they can be reconfigured to single phase.
