Spicer 3053 trans question possible problem

No pics handy, but as I remember, pull out the drive shaft to the Tcase, pull the output flange off the trans, pull the main out the top.

Spicer 3053 trans question possible problem

I've been down this road. www.waterloospecialties.com which is m35-tom, a member here. I think you're looking at about $200 for a stock new main and 2nd. He also has instructions on his site, and I'm sure there are TMs out there as well. Main and 2nd can be changed with the trans in the truck...

Update: Have a trial run of 10 pcs waterjet cut and need to get in the machine shop to make the bending/forming jigs, but we are overbooked for a while. Having a hard time finding good manual machinists.

Deuce For sale. Is it worth it?

Monetarily, not really, especially if it doesn't still have the LDS-427.

Anyone interested in heavier duty hydraulic head button retaining clips?

Got test piece from waterjet, I'm liking it. Forms/bends well and is nice and strong even before heat treat. Going to have him add some more meat to the O.D. and then we'll make the forming jig.
