    current prices

That the impression I get when I nose around the internet, that I'm asking too much for mine. Maybe I'll sell the window guards and air conditioning separately then price it competitively.

Fuel leak, over top of turbo, what is it?

I use airbrake line. I did find that standard brass ferrules didnt work correctly as they did not allow for the engagement of the nut to fitting. I carefully, with a dremel tool, cut off the back part of the ferrule and that worked.

    Odometer readings r correct?

One clue with the older trucks is the dual speedometer scale: if you have say a 1966 Kaiser and it has both mph / km then the speedo has been replaced.

CUCV good starter vehicle for Resto/Daily driving?

Cheap to register, cheap to insure, fuel mileage aint bad.....as long as the injection pump is good then I'd say yea, go for it. The cost of a replacement pump can exceed the value of some of our trucks 8<)

    quick IP replacement question

I dont know the answer, but can comment that an hour or two labor is the least of your worries. I had the IP changed in my CUCV recently...it was a thousand bucks for a rebuilt one w/ labor. So now that I have replaced the most expensive part of the truck, I may as well fix the little stuff and...

    minimizing the mess

I'm new to this, so I'm OK with you telling me I'm wrong. Everytime oil is transferred there is some spillage / leakage. Sop it up with rags, now I got oily rags to deal with. Everything has a film of oil on it, attracting dirt , so now everything is oily AND dirty. I'm willing to trade cargo...

    CUCV 24v to 12v How-To

Well, sorta kinda, yeah, 2 separate 12V systems that could be selectable somehow. I mean, most of the hardware is already there. Not a big deal, just a thought experiment. Attached is the Crown Victoria pic, Kinda redneck but thats what I had to work with at the time.
