Today I guess, just after they started painting aluminum trucks..🤣😂 Tired of 30 year old mismatched ugly looking crud.. Just a freshen up.. and I can see leaks easier.. Hell if I had the money and time Id run it through a media blaster.. Nice, shiny, and new(er) lookin... But $4 rattle... -

Id say the "float" is inside the tube.... Just my 2 cents.. Good luck with project.. I got mine in October and .......Its in a million pieces 😂🤣 but its fun, and it will eventually run like a scalded ape.. Best of luck. Ocho -

NP218 shims to adjust end play

Tobash, Just peak at the TM for replacing the rear seal.. All I can say is that I would do it if the transmission is coming out. I plan to do mine next week or so after I pull my tranny. I dont think its that bad.. But I am sure there are lots of better opinions on here.. Get er done >>>>... -
