The gathering of the participants in the early morning. I will post pics of the parade in the next couple of days as they come in from the Vietnam Veterans post photographer. I was much too busy all morning to gather more pics.
I have only one pic of my new M931 but it is a nice truck.
OK, final bump. We have about 25 vehicles committed for the convoy from Denton. We will have four Sheriff's Department squad cars escorting us the 30 miles. The Huey is ready to fly top cover again.
The M113 ACAV arrives on Friday afternoon. It will be in the convoy, trucked, to...
Some pics of the first attempt to duplicate the original pillow bearing bracket.
The first shows the original attempt to duplicate the bracket from pics and some measurements provided by plowboy. Fairly close compared to the original.

I have been told a total of 20 recipients are coming this year.
The oldest, John Finn, passed this year. Mr. Finn had been a regular attendee for several years.
Found a complete winch set up for the M135/M211 here. I will have the bracket by Saturday.
I will have pillow block brackets and shields by next week. Contact me off line.
I am having the under cab floor support bracket and J-Bolt shown in Fig. 344 of TM 9-8024 duplicated.
I expect to have them finished in a couple of weeks.
