I've had three. Take the advice of getting a good one up front. Parts are available but expensive and Form 6 required on each big shipment. There's a Belgian one listed on Khaki Corps. right now. About 15 miles from me in SW Ohio.
A V-100s value depends upon the model, condition, paperwork- is it titled and legally owned?- and how complete and original it is. We would need to see detailed photos.
They forgot a lot more than a relief valve. There was enough stored pressure to have overwhelmed a relief valve and still failed as it did. This was a death trap and someone should be in jail for it.
I second the suggestion of a Ferret to get started. Dozens of good reasons why. Mostly, you have to keep it fun and Ferrets are fun. I've done the whole route, Ferrets, Foxes, V-100s, Scorpions, T-55, Stewart, 18 others, a Ferret is the way to go.
