Thanks for the recommendations guys. I am working on a web page but until then I will email the V2 Instructions and any additional info requested in a PM. The kits are also for sale on EBAY for those who want to buy there. I do sell it directly cheaper to SS members. PayPal is the preferred...
Just a little update, the rear plate is on the way from a SS member, I am machining up parts and some are being laser cut. There is a bit of a back log at the laser cutter so it will be at least 2-3 weeks before I can test fit the kit components on a CUCV.
>>>UPDATE<<<
OK so the fitting showed up late on Friday. Nearly all was correct but some was not. I elected to spend the last three days doing a secondary machining process on the fittings to correct the lingering issues. All is correct now and the kits are assembled. My Wife and I are...
I will dig deeper after this big job is done. I have not really spent too much time since the initial overhaul looking at the air system. It is on the 'list' ;).
Thank you for your question. The crossover pipe is on the draw side of the system. This kit draws stagnant coolant/air from the back of the block and allows for the rear cylinders to balance with the fronts.
The volume is not very high in fact you may have seen some posts previously about...
When I am not heavily using the air, the purge valve lets off a nice blast every so often so I think it is working. I am wondering if one of those smaller valves is over pressurizing and losing a lot of air because of it.
My SEE was missing the under engine protection plate (skid plate) so I figured I would make a box there with the winch in it. It will be hydraulic by the way. The rear hoist/winch will be mounted where the spare fuel/hydraulic can mount is and will have a roller off to the passenger side for...
You are probably right. When I first got her I had to go through the air system and I ended up messing with the smaller regulators on the drivers side over the tanks. I never really figured out what I was doing with those and left them. I might need to turn them down from where I left them...
So I have been working my SEE hard for two strait weeks putting in my ranch fencing. I have filled her up 4 times. She has dug 300+ post holes, leveled 2-3 acres of land, Built a 700ft rock berm to stop river erosion (while in the river which has a 3' drop in and clime out access and is 3'...
***UPDATE***
For all those with pre-orders...
Thank you all for your patience. My AN fitting supplier has made a series of errors starting with shipping two weeks late, then having sent the wrong size fittings, and now has again shipped late but yet to arrive (next day or two). Assuming all...
I have fabricated an adapter that moves the thermostat and cover out from the crossover a bit and allows for the return from my system into the adapter.
This is what I need in hand. I assume both the two wire and the single wire are identical thread count and size. What I am going to do is fabricate a custom block off plate to contain both the sensor and my coolant fitting but the packaging is VERY tight and I dont want to start making these...
The linkage gets bent on these too if the dog house gets dropped on the linkage when being installed or if the cab was tilted and dropped crooked too. Mine was all bent up and all the rods needed to be straitened and lubed...
