    All spun up.......

I am on my way to WalMart for the 2.5 gallon containers of Rotella T and an oil change. A quick stop at O'Reilly Auto Parts for the spin on filters will make it simple work this weekend. I have begun putting strong magnets on the forward oil filter to catch any metal floating around. I will...

    New M151 Brake Drums

David was working on the brakes of his M151 and took the drums to O'Reilly to turn them. Warped. He looked at the net for brake drums and found only used ones many miles away. On a hunch he called RAPCO. They have been doing a lot of work lately and uncovered a stock of NOS brake drums for...

    Primary Filter Confusion

My main concern on the fuel filters is rust. Rust in the primary and rust in the secondary filters drove me nuts. Spin on filters change the entire thing, eliminating rust. Did I mention I hate rust in the fuel?

    Primary Filter Confusion

Plus five on that. I have the oil spin on filters, the fuel spin on filters and the primary spin on filters. I would not change them back for any amount of money. John Tennis is the best asset this site ever produced. Keep it up John.

You have a good steering wheel, both front shackles and it appears to be a solid, if neglected, truck. Try finding the shackles and steering wheel anywhere.

    M35 Heater NOS?

I do not know why I bought this. I never drive when it is cold enough to use a heater. In Texas that means basically really cruddy weather or ice and snow. It is much easier to stay home and make a good bowl of chili.

I find the GL people to be great. Very helpful. Security insisted on registration, license insurance and such. I went to the main yard alone.

Deuce Mechanics in the Dallas / FtW / Denton Texas Area

The TM's will give you the information on the parking brake. Easily done. The most important thing is to check the MC for BFS. If it is low, pick up a gallon or so of BFS from one of the vendors like Spruce Mountain. Look for leaking brake cylinders, also You may then want to oil the Air...

    Sometimes It Helps To Think

I am not a big one on thinking things out before jumping into a project. I had my rear BO lights working when the tail lights should be. Turn signals blinked the BO lights on the rear. Now, this is the second deuce and had the trailer pig tail sliced in two when I got it. I spent the better...

    Lubricating a Deuce Air Pack

The air packs are not complex. I always loosen the plug on the air packs I have rebuilt. It kind of makes you wonder how they were serviced in service.
