That is a good report. I have two sets ordered. They will be using the Wix #33336 filter, NAPA #3336, fuel filters. These are 6 micron filters as opposed to the 10 micron stock filter. I am really looking forward to replacing my stock filter cans. They had rust spots after nearly 40...

Talking to my starter repair guy leads me to believe that many RV starters can be interchanged with the stock starter. Apparently, the bolt pattern and such are standard and the batteries cannot tell one 24v starter from another.

I bought 6TL batteries at O'Reilly. I am not sure that they are still available.

Poor ground. I know, it sounds dumb, but any time I have lights that do not work, I clean the grounds, replace the bolts and star washers. Interior/exterior star washers are available from Grainger. Having a poor ground causes all kinds of problems.

One of my clients was in the entertainment business big time. She had the world's largest BBQ smoker built. Fairly good size, I think.

Things are different back east it appears. In Texas we do not cook BBQ over coals. That is called grilling here. It is for steaks and Yankees. We cook with offset heat at about 300 degrees. I primarily use Mesquite, Pecan and Hickory in combination for flavor. Here are pics of my BBQ...

It could be a bad ground. I have to credit Bjorn for my paranoia about defective grounds. I have pulled every ground I can find on my two deuces, cleaned and replaced the bolts and washers. I think it may not be the cold. It may be the GROUND!:!:

You could move to Texas. It will be in the 70's later this week. I have never had a cold starting problem, well other than not wanting to go outside and start the deuce.;-)

I got 14 new 11:00x20 NDCC for V V A 920 to put on their deuce. I figured the five ton drive would work to recalibrate the speedo. Thanks for the confirmation Bjorn!:-D Now, where you come up with all these parts lists is still a mystery to me, but you readily share your knowledge with us.

I think it better to wait around for jatonka to get his secondary spin on filters out for sale to eliminate dirty fuel going into the engine. I know cleaning seems like a good idea, but the cost of spin on filters is so low that having new rust free filters far exceeds anything a cleaned filter...
