    Best place to mount antenna

Well, I'm going for looks in part. I sorta like the humongous whip antenna thing. :-D Besides, a 1/4 wavelength unloaded whip is better than a loaded whip of 1/8" wave length. I'll probably also add in a kit to make a full wave antenna using ~35' of insulated wire I can string from a line...

Intake/exhaust port CFM flow? Porting the heads? Tech babble.

Hmm, what about arranging the radiator for the intercooler parallel to the right side vented fender area? Add an electric blower there for the airflow?

oil drain plug gasket too small? what do I do.

When the copper gasket is tightened down, it gets squished inwards AND outwards. The new gasket should carefully thread onto the plug. IF not, check at NAPA.

    Rear gerry can mounts

It is a good idea in some respects but it'll foul on things as it dramatically reduces the departure angle.

    Best place to mount antenna

I'm thinking a long whip antenna thwapping back and forth against the cab might not be the best thing though. Hence the ability to pull it back from the bumper position and it would be lower. Also, as a long 110" whip I'm going to have good signal. Obviously if it's off the front bumper the...

    Best place to mount antenna

So, I'm trying to get some forwards progress on my Deuce Radio kit. where to mount the Antenna. I'm thinking I'd like to do a mod of a MX-6707/VRC antenna base as the foundation. Where to mount the antenna though? Front Bumper? Fender? Back of the Cab or Front of the bed? thoughts? I'm...

    Axle grease melting?

I've tried in my last axle service a hand cut piece of medium soft rubber shoved up in the slot. We'll see how that works. So far so good with a bit of driving....50 miles or so.

    Stock LOOKING EGT/Boost gauge?

Bjorn, I think I know why you like the M757. It came with more controls and dials than a Cessna.

    Air horn trumpets

This latest set were ON there. I tried removing one to check and they were painted in. Clearly the vibration fixed things so it could unscrew. I swear, next part I have that needs to be loosened after years of being stuck, I'll just clamp it to the fender of my truck and drive around. Course...

Broke Down in Billings Montana - Need to find a shop that can replace wheel cylinders

Sounds like they're trying to make it right. I'd be right pissed if they did the 6 brake cylinders for that price and over tightened bearings and brake shoe adjustment. It's not hard to get the brake shoe adjustment right. Easy to check too.

    1100x20 G177s on a Deuce...

Hmm. I have jack stands for this weight. The trick is finding enough cribbing. We have a mess of good cribbing in PA with the Humber at Jim's shop but not down at my place in Georgia. Hmm.
