My M923A2 wont build air pressure past 30-40 PSI in Primary/Secondary air tanks??

You can pop the head off of it and look at the piston. You have to drain the coolant though. It may just need a new gasket. On mine the unloader body (the four bolts on top hold that and the head on) came right off but the head was stuck tight. I had to drive a chisel in the seam to get it...

    Fixing Out of round Tires

I looked at that option but the one we had handy had the motor hanging down. The key is going to be keeping the tool stationary while spinning the tire. Still working on my setup.

    Fixing Out of round Tires

I just wanted to touch on this subject again. My tires are still lumpy and I have had no luck finding a shop to shave them. I have a plan in mind to shave them myself and will post up my success or failure on the project.

931A2 not starting after filter change

I had to prime mine a few times to get it to stay running after fuel filters. Just be easy on the starter.

??M929A2 Don't Compress Air With Bed Up??

Yuck, but not surprising. Sounds like you found the problem. Yup, blow out the line, clean it all, and lube it up. Should be good as new. I found that when I rebuilt my compressor I had to adjust the governor to get the air pressure right. I cut my own gaskets from a sheet so I could get it...

??M929A2 Don't Compress Air With Bed Up??

The two bolts on top hold a round cap in. That is the unloader. Someone told me to take the line off it and put a few drops of transmission fluid in there to lube the unloader. I didn't try that though as the advise was late. I had already rebuilt my compressor and unloader. Another member had...

M923A2 - Loss of Power While Driving

Yup. Park the truck on an uphill slope and disconnect the fuel line at the IP. Blow fuel through the system and see if it gets plugged up.

My MRAP CAIMAN 2's mini build thread !!

Those are awesome! If you choose to sell them list them here first. I would love one but it is probably out of my budget (another MV plus divorce could get spendy).

M923A2 - Loss of Power While Driving

I would start at the tank and work toward the engine. The pick up tube may be grabbing something but then letting it go when it shuts down.

??M929A2 Don't Compress Air With Bed Up??

Unloader sticking or compressor out. Search for threads on how to test those. You could have a major air leak too. Also threads on how to test that.
