Looking for an expert to look at a Deuce in NY.

Even if it cost you $100 to have John look at it; it would be money well spent.

    Multi Fuel oil pan gasket?

The big vendors just don't have everything on their web sites. Memphis DOES have them, give them a call.

Anyone try pro sandblast equipment to strip their m35?

The compressor he is going to use is WAY overkill for that blaster. I'd look into seeing if they rent a comparable sized blaster too. It would be alot faster.

The Saga Continues... M1008 front end reassembly

5 months to figure the caliper was on incorrectly? Yep-Fire the mechanic!

    TH400 Trans bellhousing bolts

Pull out one of the bolts that's still in there, measure it and replace with the same size grade 8 bolt. I've never "torqued" one, just get it tight. I'd put a lock washer on it.

HF paint gun on sale now

It basically removes the paint "resevoir" from the gun, allows for a bigger one which is attached to the gun by two hoses. It makes the position of the gun irrevelant and allows you to paint longer without refilling. HF also sells them.

    M4 Sherman Hull on Farm

SECO in Augusta has half a dozen Sexton/Priests that are in terrible shape but do have all the superstructure on them. I'm pretty sure they were going for just over scrap price. With that one ond one of theirs, you could have a relatively reasonable $$$$ runner.

New transmission pan for the TH-400?

I don't think there is a con to that idea. The plug won't fail.

LVS MK48 anybody on here get one today?

I would be shocked to see 5K. There's really no predicting what will happen.

    Vacuum bleeding of Deuce brakes

If you run a hose off the bleeders into a jar, you won't lose a drop with a pressure bleeder. Keep an eye out for Dot 5, and buy it when you find it cheap whether you need it or not. My last 3 gallons were $10 ea.

    Remote brake fluid reservoir

Summit Racing sells everything you will need.

    Home Made Fording Kit?

Remember the CCKW was prior to the REO's and the DUKW was a variant of them and it does have a "prop" shaft right in the center rear.

Is this big enough for blasting

It will run any air tool you need and the portable blasters from Northern or Harbor Freight that use a 1/8" or less nozzle. Backyard units/hobbiest yes, big industrial sandblast units-no.

    "Welded Rears" on a Deuce??

I'd go lower than 3K. 3K should get you a good running non winch truck. I don't think i'd go over 1700-1800 with the axles welded and whatever else is butchered on it that you don't know about.

Is this big enough for blasting

    15.7 CFM-Yes

    Boat towing

    I wouldn't consider it with a M1009.

    Torque rod/dogbone mod and removal

Looks like a regular log splitting wedge. (Go to a Stihl chainsaw dealer).

m109a3 sell whole, part it out, or sell for scrap?

Clinto, you need a wrecker! And a pole building!

How do I fix m1009 fiberglass top?

That's true. Twright had two he couldn't give away. Think they went to a junkyard.
