The 383 Green alternative is more saturated as a green. It does look nice, but is VERY green.

    Brand new FMTV spotted

Looks like the lifting point is on some telescoping channel too. Probably helps in recoveries and for having a place to lift that's away from the frame.

24v to 12v converters - check the classifieds

As I said in the PM, put me down for one. These are VERY GOOD pieces of equipment. Check the Newmar website for shock mounts and the like. This would be an ideal device for in a shelter or larger truck expansion project. I'm not sure where I'd mount it in my current deuce.

    Typical

Rent or buy a bike there. You can buy 400cc/600cc sport bikes there that are wonderful in the mountains where you need light weight and not horsepower.

Tractor sighting I-81 at PA/MD line

Aside from not being able to handle the M814, it looks like a very ideal way to go pickup another truck.

    Water 4 Gas

It's bumpf. Water is at the LOW point of the energy cycle. Not the high point. You have to put Energy INTO it to get it out. Water injection might work, to a point, but you're not burning the water, you're using the water to cool the air mixture, it can sort of work. It's better in a turbine...

    Copper or Plastic air lines?

Wouldn't the copper need to be flexed in order to work harden it? And plastic can degrade over time. UV especially is bad for it.

    Copper or Plastic air lines?

I prefer the solid nature of the copper lines. And I prefer to keep the truck as correct as possible.

    Hood/cawl replacement

Unless you cut metal away and re-weld the sheet metal, you essentially need to replace the cab base.

    brakes locking up

RE: Thanks for the info BigMike that's the thing. You DO want to add the air tool oil to the square plug for lubricating the Air Pack. Also, look at splitting your vent system per the PS magazine.

I think I put the wrong gear lube in the transmission

You want 90wt that has an MT1 spec. I think the 90/140 is too thick.

    electric trailer brakes????

Check for posts by me. I did a trailer brake setup that works well. Use a voltage converter to get 20 amps of 12 volt power. Power an electric brake controller with it and make sure you feed the brake controller a new 12 volt brake signal off of the air pack (use a Tee if you have to). Run...
