Just replace the gasket again. You may have missed something cleaning off a surface. Not worth slapping sealant on it with all the work you did. The housing is soft aluminum as well. May have got nicked. Might have a spare housing around if needed.
The generator head part number is the same on here as the the MEP 1040. Since I need a head for my MEP 1040, this is great to know. It also means that these can indeed be used in single phase. But, only to about 11,000 watts before heat causes an issue. Unless that issues is due to the voltage...
I just got a whole bunch of desktop CAU's with headsets for TOCNET in working order & stumbled on this thread. Uses an BNC to interface with the system.
I'm not buying two batteries to test a truck I'm just thinking about getting. If I already owned it, good batteries would have been in it before doing anything as is generally the first thing I do with equipment.
After thinking about this for some time, I'm willing to guess what the issue is & I'm going to go back next week if I can to see.
So, like most surplus stuff, batteries are no good in there. A large jumper pack is being used. That said, its a 24v pack. This means, there is not a good 12v power...

Everyone,
I spent a few hours searching here & read a few threads. I also have the WO troubleshooting guide .PDF & did find what covers part of the issue but still wanted to share as there's something odd.
Been looking at a M1097R1 that has a 4spd (4l80E?) in it. When you put power to...
I have an M1097R1 that is in the same boat, but had almost all the DWF parts removed. The only hint I had that mine was one at one point, was the hols punched in it for water draining & patched, selector valve hole patched, the hard vent lines to the rear left in place but cut, and the only part...
I learned all about the chambers & different sizes a while back! The first part of this video is on that. If the service brake diaphragms are worn, the parking are as well. I opted to just change the whole outer piggyback chamber so it was easier.
I was using a GPS to confirm. Mine is set pretty close though. I got a pretty good truck. Not a looker, but runs & drives great. I did clean it up a bit the past few weeks. Getting that Deep Water Fording kit on. Got almost all the parts.
