Everything you need to know.
I have used the: http://www.vintageair.com/67-72chevygmcpup.asp with good success. The trucks I've installed them in have have had no problems over years of use. Biggest thing you can do to supplement the heat reduction in the interior is have your windows professionally tinted, this alone can...
Yep I m with ya on the ground issue. It was the first things i checked. All the turn signals work, front and rear both sides. Except the drivers side rear which stay on, but will flash with the signal turned on. The hazard lights will not flash gut the dash indicators will stay on when the...
I've got a gremlin somewhere. New headlight switch, new brake light switch, all fuses checked replaced, all bulbs checked replaced, 2 new flashers. Drivers side rear taillight ground checked and cleaned, and the rear light harness ground checked and cleaned.
Problem: When the service light...
It's the stock suspension, the tires are 33/12.50/15's. All that's needed to fit that size tire on the stock rims is a trim of the rear inside corner on both front fenders. Allowing the outside corner of the tire
to clear the fender on full turn.

No problem, Actually the steel patch panels that I have gotten from LMC have been very nice heavy gauge steel that fit decent. Considering they all need some form of massaging to work. They offer two types the original quality or the cheaper aftermarket replacement.

Thanks! Between LMC and Rockauto you should be able to find most of the soft trim and replacement GM service parts, they are mostly all made in China, But they work fine. Look for parts that have the Official GM Restoration Parts logo those tend to be better quality. It's not a 69 Z28 that needs...
Hi all, just finished this blazer and it has the new BFG's 33/12.50/15 All Terrain KO-2 tires. Just thought you may want to see what they look like on a M1009. I've had the truck out on the road and they ride great... very quite and it feels like the sidewall is stiffer than the old style and...
Because the problem exists both when the engine is cold and hot (when you don't need the GP's) i am thinking it's the IP. I come out this morning and saw two drip spots on the floor between the converter cover and oil pan....i need to check the valley pan when I get home for fuel. I think it's...
Still working on this truck and having a hard time finding the source of the very hard starting. Everything is new, GP's, new card, new batteries, new cables,GP relay, starter relay and new spin on fuel filter with new fuel lines to the IP. New fuel filter has very good pressure a fuel lines have...
...got it the 20 amp engine control fuse was blown, now with key in the start position I have 12v to one of the purple wires and nothing on the other so that must be the 24v switched wire.
Thanks, David
Doghead relay...2 purple wires? ...now hard starting
Doing the starter relay mod as I've done many times but this time no purple/white stripe wire to tell the 12v with the on. I tried to test both wires but neither one reads 12v with the key on. I did cut the wire harness apart to try and fine...

Just finished this M1008 and used the new BFG's All Terrain KO2's 285/75/16. I was very happy with the look and ride of the new model of BFG's. They ride very smooth and quiet. Just thought I'd share my opinion on the tires in case anyone was looking.
